Cult-O-Rama: Panic at the Cinema
Midnight weekend screenings happen on Friday & Saturday nights (meaning arrive on Friday and/or Saturday night by 11:45pm for seating, the movie starts after midnight)!
Run Time: 200 min.
Both of these horror classics take place in movie theaters. Call it an immersive experience if you want, but you aren’t gonna get killed in OUR theater…that would be a massive insurance issue that we just don’t need right now, okay? Get it together.
Popcorn (1991) – Film students are always looking for inspiration for their assignments; these kids find it when they decide to hold a horror movie marathon in an abandoned theater that’s set to be demolished. It’s all fun and games until a deranged killer messes up all their plans.
Demons (1985) – If you were given two free tickets to a mystery movie, the worst you would normally expect would be something like Madame Web. Unfortunately for Cheryl and Kathy, their experience is only slightly less disturbing: the movie is demonically possessed and soon, they might be too!
