In this dark comedy, Pepa decides to kill herself after she is unexpectedly dumped by her lover, Iván. She is interrupted by a distressed friend who has had an affair with a terrorist, and Iván’s son, who wants to rent her apartment.

In the wake of a personal tragedy, single mom Manuela goes to Barcelona to track down her son’s father, now a transgender woman. She reconnects with an old friend and forms new relationships with a group of women, each carrying her own personal burden.
