In September 1926, a silent movie house opened on Potomac Avenue. In the century that followed, it saw many owners, renovations, and technological advances, but it has always remained one thing—a movie theater.

Celebrate 100 years of cinema in Dormont with us this September, culminating in a Community Day on Potomac Avenue on September 26 and a 1920s-style centennial celebration featuring the film Ben-Hur.
