Dig your dolls out of storage and bring them to Row House Hollywood for a behind-the-scenes look at the cultural revolution that was American Girl dolls. This film features a sit-down with founder Pleasant Rowland, as well as never-before-seen footage and insights from the American Girl brand’s authors, insiders, enthusiasts, and journalists. Through the inclusion of U.S. historical narratives, this documentary explores how the small Pleasant Company grew into the second-largest doll company in America before it was sold to Mattel in 1998.
