It’s the dawn of a new era for cult cinema in Pittsburgh! Row House Cinema’s Cult-O-Rama series is thrilled to partner with Vinegar Syndrome — the amazing cult and genre film restoration company with a Pittsburgh retail shop on East Carson Street.

The Series: The last Friday of each month, our Cult-O-Rama hosts Cara and Garth will present a selection from Vinegar Syndrome’s massive archive of lovingly preserved cult films that were simply too much for the mainstream. And because it’s a Cult-O-Rama program, there will of course be trivia, witty banter, cool prizes, and more.

The Film: Deathly ill Count Dracula and his slimy underling, Anton, travel to Italy in search of a virgin’s blood. They’re welcomed at the crumbling estate of indebted Marchese Di Fiore, who’s desperate to marry off his daughters to rich suitors. But there, instead of pure women, the count encounters incestuous lesbians with vile blood and Marxist manservant Mario, who’s suspicious of the aristocratic Dracula.

Film smay not be suitable for all ages. Cult-O-Rama’s regular double features at Lawrenceville will continue!
