Join us for a 1920s style night at the movies to celebrate 100 years of cinema at Row House – Hollywood. Our theater opened in September of 1926 on Potomac Avenue. We don’t know the exact film that was shown that night, but we’ve chosen some 1920s clips and Buster Keaton’s infamous silent comedy The General, which premiered that year!

Come dressed in 1920s style and enjoy a feathery 1920s burlesque show and other vaudeville acts before the film. Each ticket comes with one complimentary drink to celebrate! We’ll also be hosting an open community day with more vaudeville acts on the street from 5-6:30 pm and unveiling our new history wall with pieces of Dormont’s past.

The General: During America’s Civil War, Union spies steal engineer Johnny Gray’s beloved locomotive, ‘The General’—with Johnnie’s lady love aboard an attached boxcar—and he single-handedly must do all in his power to both get The General back and to rescue Annabelle.
