When a fatherless teen insinuates himself into the doctor’s life in gradual and unsettling ways, he menacingly confronts the doctor with a long-forgotten transgression that will shatter his domestic bliss forever.

Lanthimos absurdist black comedy is set in a dystopian near future where single people, according to the laws of The City, are taken to The Hotel. They are obliged to find a romantic partner in forty-five days or are transformed into animals of their choice and sent off into The Woods in this unsettling and star studded feature.
