Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Sustaining and the Annual membership?
The payment options. The Sustaining membership allows members to break the payments up into monthly increments that are automatically billed. The Annual membership is a paid up front once a year.
What is the difference between the benefits of a Standard membership and a Premium membership?
The biggest difference is you get UNLIMITED movies with a Premium membership. The Standard membership limits members to one free movie per month, plus your birthday and guest pass.
I signed up! What now?
Hooray! Welcome to the club. Upon sign up, you will receive an important email from us with a code that you can use at the box office or to book movies online and a personal link that you can use to login to your account to update information, renew, or cancel. Your email will look like this:
How do I book a movie online?
Choose the showtime and seat you would like using our website. When you go to pay, enter your personal membership code (sent to you when you signed up via email) in the box labeled and the email connected to your membership account.
Your ticket and booking fee will be waived and your total will come to $0. Your reservation email will be sent to you!
Can I go to any showtime with my membership?
Not quite. Membership codes can only be used on showtimes that are priced as general admission (which is roughly 95% of our showtimes).
Members cannot use their codes for special events such as Brew & Views and Cereal Cinemas. Membership codes are also not valid during our annual Japanese Film Festival.

Duo Membership Questions:
What’s a Duo Membership?
It’s a discounted membership that you can share with your partner, spouse, bff, mom, favorite barista or whoever you like to see movies with.
I have a Duo Membership … Can I bring any guest I want?
No. Only your Duo partner that you signed up with will receive membership benefits, same as you. If you would like to share your membership with a friend, use your complimentary guest ticket which you receive as a thank you for joining. Maybe they will want to become a member (hint hint).
I am no longer on speaking terms with my “Duo” partner … Can I change who is my official partner?
Yes. At anytime, in your online membership profile, you can change the name of your official partner. You can access all of your account information, including duo partners, with your personal link that was sent to you with your welcome email upon sign up.
Let us know if you have trouble doing this, we are happy to help, just email: membership@rowhousecinema.com.
Standard Membership Questions
If I have a Standard membership, can I use my free monthly movie and my birthday movie within the same month?
Yes.
If I have a Standard membership and I don’t use my free monthly movie will it rollover to the following month?
Nope. If you don’t use it you lose it.
When is my monthly movie valid?
If you pay for an annual membership, you get 12 movies up front upon enrollment. If you pay monthly, you get one code a month that will be valid for one month after the date of payment.
So if your payment is processed on March 15, you have March 15 – April 15 to see a movie.
